Larry, Alex, Theresa, Charlie & Rebecca were seated next to each other on the stage facing the community.
Rebecca raised her mic.
“Ok, now that we’re all refreshed after our break, let’s move into the next segment for the evening.
We’re going to remain up here on the stage to assist answering any questions that may arise.”
She waved at the other speakers.
“If anyone has any questions about how we’re going to proceed with transforming our town or if you’d like to present an idea of your own, for say approximately 5-10 minutes, you’re free to do so.
Please don’t be afraid of asking questions. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask!
We’ve got an hour or so and we want to hear as many voices and have as many questions as we can.
Many of you will have the same questions, so be brave and ask not just for your own clarity, but for everyone.
If you would like to present an idea on stage, stand up, share with everyone a quick elevator pitch of your idea, then we’ll take a vote to see if the people would like you to continue or not.
As I’m sure some of you may have brilliant ideas, but the community may not want to hear it right now.
All in good time.
So, any takers for a question or to share an idea?”
Theresa raised her mic.
“Apologies, I would just like to add that people think democracy is majority rules, but only once, every few years.
They think it’s an effective strategy because to give power and opportunity to the people to decide the outcome of all relevant decisions is ‘too slow’.
Well, let’s show them how that is not the case” she finished with a laugh that was joined by the others on stage and a few in the crowd.
An old man stood up and started speaking.
“This all sounds great and everything, very optimistic, but it’s just not practical. The government is going to crack down on this and stop it before it even begins. How are we meant to build entire new communities with the current system like it is, we just don’t have the money. People aren’t interested in change, this isn’t going to work, we need to just fight back against the system like we've already been doing, try and vote in new political parties and tell the cops to stick it where the sun don’t shine….”
Larry stood up and lifted his mic to to quickly interrupt the old codgers flow “Ok everyone, let’s take a vote right now if you would like this optimistic gentlemen to take the stage and continue speaking about….how we're all doomed…?”
No one in the audience raised their hand.
“Thank you for your contribution, your input is appreciated. I do mean that sincerely. I’ll show you why.”
Larry looked around the room and made eye contact with many people.
“Does this look like a beginning of something to you?” Larry asked in a loud passionate voice of the community.
The community of Frocksville clapped and cheered, all 1,500 of them.
“Raise your hand if you’re interested in change”?
The whole room raised their hands.
“Raise your hand if you’d be willing to donate your hard earned coins towards things you cared about and which you had a real say”?
Most of the people raised their hand.
“I know I’m asking a lot, especially from my presentation, but how many police are in the room? I promise we won’t lynch you it’s Ok” Larry laughed.
Two tentative hands went in the air from a man and woman sitting together at the back of the room.
“Now, who here thinks fighting this man and woman is a good idea to bring about positive change?”
No hands went up.
“Who here thinks we should teach them our message, invite them into our community with open arms and show them a better way?”
Every hand in the community went up.
Larry looked at the negative old man who had spoken earlier.
“That’s why we appreciate your input friend, every voice matters. Thank you.”
The crowd clapped and cheered again.
Charlie stood up and added “We don’t need to build entirely new communities from scratch.
It’s not necessary.
If that is what you’d like to do, then by all means go ahead.
But we already have the people and the infrastructure built here in our town.
We just need to adapt our current way of thinking and operating to reflect higher values and levels of cooperation.
It’s all about mindset and shifting attitudes from ‘me against the world’ to ‘our community against challenges’.
Just think about the amount of work that needs to go into establishing brand new communities.
It’s possible of course, but a lengthy and very challenging process.
It will be easier to educate people in our town about a better way of co-operating then it is to create some new from the ground up.
Although I will say again, if you have a group of people who are very focused and dedicated to building a new community, then sure, give it a good ole crack.
I hope that answers that question.”
A light haired, fit looking young man in his 30’s stood up.
“If I may”?
“Yes go ahead, just please keep your elevator pitch to under a minute before we get everyone’s feedback via a vote” said Rebecca.
“Of course. Hi everyone, Mark here.
The current system uses words like hierarchy, authority, boss, sir, commander then on the flip side, cattle, sheep, slaves, employees, workers and drones to explain those who are better than others and those who are lesser.
From my perspective, I see this as totally the wrong attitude to a healthy society.
My idea I would like to share is about project specific leadership and team work, if you would like to hear more, I’d be honoured to explain.”
Mark finished with a slight dip of his head and forward inclination of his torso, performing a perfectly appropriate and modest bow of respect to his peers.
“Please raise your hand if you would like to hear Mark share more about his idea”? Rebecca asked everyone.
Close to 90% of the audience raised their hands.
“Step up to the stage Mark” Invited Rebecca.
As Mark walked up to the stage, he was supported by a reassuring clap from the crowd.
Mark felt nervous on the inside, but didn't let it show on the outside.
"The first and foremost problem & solution is a simple one.
It's a change of attitude.
Instead of working for a boss, we need to start thinking differently.
We need to work with leaders.
This simple mind shift can have huge impacts.
One puts you beneath others in a hierarchy.
One puts you beside others in a team.
For some reason, we all vote for one person to take control and manage all of our affairs, whether that be for the town, state or country.
This seems very inefficient and unintelligent, as we all know, that no one is good at everything, but we are all good at something.
Having a centralised ruler who dictates what must and must not happen, without the vote of the people, isn’t democracy.
It’s not fair and it’s an extremely poor example of team work and collaboration.
What happens more often than not is the centralised leader will make decisions that the majority of people disagree with, but only comply because of fear of punishment.
This is no way to operate a healthy and free society.
Yes, of course, we must have rules and we must have Lore. If people changed what side of the road they wanted to drive on everyday, we would have chaos.
But if it’s not the people and the majority who are deciding these things, then what good is it?
Why do the majority believe that voting for a minority to rule the majority is sound reasoning?
Because it’s not. The majority should be working for the majority, not the minority working against the majority.
If it’s not good for everyone, it’s not good for anyone.
What seems apparent is that power can corrupt.
And corruption destroys.
That’s not what any of us want.
We want systems that can help speed up decision making.
We want the responsibility of leadership shared amongst those who prove themselves to be most fit to handle it.
We want the ability to reelect new leaders the moment they fail to achieve results or someone thinks they can do better.
Decentralised systems are more effective, cost less, work much faster and are far more honest and ethical.
I’ll give you an example of project specific leadership and teamwork so you can see what I mean.
But first, I just want to get your feedback, please raise your hand if this is making sense so far and you’d like to hear an example?”
Just about everyone raised their hand.
“Perfect. Let’s say someone” Mark pointed to Fiona who spoke earlier, who he didn't know was a project manager and her husband was a construction engineer, “like Fiona here, presents the idea of building a new bridge.”
Fiona smiled and nudged Gerald in the ribs.
“First, we get enough votes in support of building the bridge to get started.
Because if the majority of the townspeople don't want a bridge, for whatever reason, then why would be build something the people have expressed they don’t want?
This goes for any new projects, rules or ideas.
Then, we see who offers to help. Whether they are getting paid in national currency, freedom credits or simply volunteering doesn't matter, we start with volunteers who want and who can help.
We can’t build a new bridge without the people to do it, same for any new project that requires man power.
Then out of those volunteers, some will volunteer to lead the project.
Without leadership and direction for a project, it’s very difficult and almost impossible to get it done.
Those who volunteer to lead the project, in this case building a bridge, have the opportunity to present their plan to the others who are part of the project.
It’s not necessary to have everyone in the town vote on a specific projects leadership, unless it is necessary, though most the time it’s not.
This is because a projects specific leadership is just that, specific only to that particular project, it doesn't extend to other projects or areas, unless someone is multi-talented and the people vote for their leadership across multiple projects.
To be clear, a project is anything from building a bridge, organising community protection, keeping the streets clean, fixing up potholes etc...
Actually, fixing potholes doesn't require a team and leadership, it can simply be done by anyone who has the materials, equipment and expertise as it’s a very small thing to do.
In today’s societies, it takes far too long for potholes to be repaired when it is only authorised council workers who can fix it.
By allowing anyone with initiative and who can fix potholes to fix them, we can speed up the repair process astronomically.
Although of course we need to build better roads which don’t get potholes in the first place, but moving on.
The team who has volunteered to be part of the project, in this case, building a bridge, then votes on who has the best plan and who they would like to lead the project.
The criteria for electing a project specific leader would be based on the quality of their plan, their experience, their skill and most importantly their attitude and ability to work as a team with others.
If someone has previous results building bridges, but doesn't play well with others, then it’s hard to see anyone electing them as the leader.
They would be better suited as a professional consultant or guide to the project, but for someone to lead a project, they need to be respected and respectful.
Being the leader doesn't mean you get to be the boss and order others around because of your authority.
It means you are the one to direct and lead your team.
You are not in charge of your team, your team is in the charge of you.
Authority is the idea that you have the right to rule and that if people disobey your commands, you have the legitimate right to punish them, more often than not, with robbery or violence.
Leadership is the idea of guiding the direction of a team in a respectful manner.
If you have authority, it doesn't matter how you treat your team, because they are beneath you.
When you’re a leader, it all depends on how you treat your team, because they are beside you.
If someone doesn't like the leader and wants to quit, they can, without repercussions or punishment.
If the leader is not performing for whatever reason, then any member of the team can call for a re-vote at any time.
This is best done in a respectful way with the aim of not causing conflict.
Although if a leader can’t handle the idea of a re-vote or giving up their position, they are not fit to be the leader.
A true leader is able to step down and hand over their position at anytime.
Who here has ever built a bridge?”
Gerald raised his hand.
“Ok, thanks for that, what’s your name please?’
“Hi everyone, I’m Gerald, been a construction engineer for 20 years, I’ve led a couple projects where yes, we did build bridges.” Gerald smiled.
Mark continued.
“Let’s say the team of volunteers for the bridge building project vote Gerald to lead.
Let’s also say that Gerald is a fantastic leader and is multi-talented.
He is so good, that people ask him to also lead another project of building a new natural health facility.
Gerald is very busy leading the bridge building team so at first declines the offer.
But the people still feel he is the best man for the job, since he has the experience and is the kind of bloke who is kind and easy to respect.
They keep trying to persuade Gerald to help.
So Gerald thinks about it and figures that yes, the town does really need a new natural health facility so people don’t have to continue relying upon allopathic doctors and getting hurt by their drugs.
He knows he will have to work overtime, but wants to help the community get a great head start.
So he accepts the offer and begins leading two projects simultaneously.
Now, let’s say Gerald is getting a reputation and the people ask him to lead another project, this time redesigning our sewerage systems.
Gerald has to explain to the people that just because he is really good at building bridges and facilities, doesn't mean he knows how to redesign a sewer system.
So he declines the offer.
The people then ask him to lead the construction of a new town hall, which will be triple the size of our current one.
Gerald informs them that he is already leading the bridge project and the natural health facility project.
He can’t possibly take on another big project, he doesn't have the time.
Even though he may be the best man, one person just can’t do it all.
It’s not humanly possible.
So he recommends inviting one of his friends and colleagues from across the country to come help.
I share this example to show you a few things.
The first being that no one is good at everything.
The second is one man can only do so much.
The third is that when you are really good at what you do, people ask you to lead them.
Look at our current system of town, state and national ministers.
How can one minister make the best decisions about everything and override the experts because he has supposed ‘authority’? It’s not logical.
How can one minister possibly be in charge of everything, with only the same amount of time in each day as the rest of us? Again, it’s not logical or realistic.
How many people actually ask the minister for their input in projects? I dare say, none do. Because ministers haven't proven themselves to be good at anything in particular.
They don’t know how to build a bridge or create a new farm or plan a towns infrastructure.
They’re only good at making mistakes.
Are they even mistakes, or deliberately bad choices?
I mean after all, the politicians are not stupid, they just pretend to be stupid.
They are quite intelligent people, it’s just that their plans don’t align with ours and they have to act like they do.
The best leaders aren’t afraid of losing their leadership positions and they aim to bring out the leader in you.
True leaders inspire everyone else to be a leader in their own respective right.
A true leader will nurture the best quality's in you and pull you up to become better.
They aren't afraid of losing their position.
They are actively trying to replace themselves by educating others everything they know in the hopes they can pass the baton of leadership to someone more skilled and talented then they.
This is because a true leader doesn't have any power over you.
They only have the power to influence and inspire you.
Is that what we have today, or is that what we would like to see tomorrow?”
The crowd clapped and cheered enthusiastically.
“I hope my short presentation has highlighted some of the reasons why the current system is ineffective and performs sub-optimally and how a better system does exist.
Please raise you hand if you would like to join me at a meeting next Wednesday to further discuss these ideas?”
About 40 people raised their hands with eager looks on their faces.
“Fantastic, I’ll post the details in the community Facebook group and I cant wait to see you all there.
I thank you all very much for your attention.”
Rebecca stood up.
“Thank you for your input Mark, clearly you’ve done some thinking about this idea and it shows.
You actually had me thinking about my position as the organiser and host.
Perhaps it’s a good idea to have some kind of rotation with this role.
Or a group of people who are part of the organisation, co-ordination and moderation team for the community meetings.
Then out of our group of volunteers one of us could volunteer for who would like to act as the meetings host.
This way, we could give more people the chance to speak up and take on a leadership role and the responsibility of hosting won’t be in the hands of just one person.
Plus, it makes it difficult for one person to get too much power and influence if there is a team of us.
Theresa stood up.
“Hands up please if you would volunteer to assist Rebecca and be part of the meeting organisation team?”
Three hands went up.
“So if we have option A. Only having one person in the position as the host and organiser until they resign or are voted out or option B. have a team of organisers who decide amongst themselves who will be the host for each meeting, which would you vote for?”
“Hands up for A.”
About 30% of hands went up.
“Option B?”
The rest of the hands went up.
“Ok wow, we sorted that out quick!” Exclaimed Rebecca. “Please, come speak to me after the meeting.”
A middle aged man with a shaved head stood up.
“What’s the plan about police, the current political council and other government workers?
I’m not going to be supporting their slavery system anymore, meaning I won’t be paying rego, getting their licenses, paying taxes and I won’t be paying any of their fines.
I’ve been living this way in the private for a while now, but my life has become difficult with the thugs harassing me, stealing my private plates, arresting me for nothing and having to go to court all the time.”
Alex stood up to address this question.
“Good question. A serious one too.
The ruling class use the enforcer class to maintain their domination over the rest of us.
How do we break free of their violent domination without resorting to violence ourselves?
Well, I see many approaches to this.
One of them is inviting police and other agents of the government to attend our meetings, and by doing so, we convert them into becoming peaceful supporters of voluntarism.
This isn’t going to work for all of them, or even half of them.
So another way to make them leave us alone is to make their jobs too difficult to continue.
Anytime we get pulled over and harassed by police, we tell them the truth.
That what they are doing is wrong and that none of us will be paying their fines anymore and we’ll see them in court.
The following is what I call the 'Unification Strategy'.
Every time a member of our community has to attend court because of their petty policies, we gather as many people as possible to go and support that person. Ideally at least 50.
We also become the media of the town, each individual sharing via social media the real story.
We develop strategies from experienced players in this field and all go into court with the same approach.
I am not guilty, I have done nothing wrong, I do not follow your law and I am not the name in question.
Some of us know how their scam works and some don’t, so I’ll quickly summarise.
They trick people into behaving as a legal fiction, which is your “name” in all caps, which is a corporation and isn't your real name or the real you.
When you write something in all capital letters, it becomes a different language called 'capitis dimunitio maxima'.
It appears as english, but is not.
This is linked to the birth certificate fraud, which would take a whole night to explain in detail & that would just be the beginning.
They can only have power over this misrepresentation of you, not the real you.
That's why they love to call you sir, ma'am, Mr, Mrs and Miss.
They also can't help but use your 'sir-name', your last name, as if you look on any official documentation, you'll find it's always in capital letters, which is the language of corporations & status.
They convert your real actual last name into a title by writing it in all caps, starting with the birth certificate.
If they can get you to respond to titles that are not really you, in their eyes they have jurisdiction because you are taking ownership of a title that has nothing to do with the real you and everything to do with their scam.
Because what's the catch with titles?
Titles are always linked to hierarchy....
All titles have a certain status, some are better than others and there is always someone with a higher title and more 'status' than you.
But in reality, does status really equal value and worth...?
If they make you respond to a title, you have just stepped inside of their system and as their title is above yours, they have jurisdiction.
All titles are ranked from lowest to highest using numbers.
The lowest being 0, a slave, or worse, and the highest being god at infinity.
Yes, even 'god' is a title for that which has no real name, that which is beyond names and everything.
True God has and needs no title, rank or name for true God is beyond such petty things, yet they have developed a system of naming 'god' and using it for their corrupt advantage.
This is why they use the bible in their courts, because they claim to be representatives of 'god'.
They claim that their 'god' has the highest rank and status and has thus appointed them to create a rulership structure in his absence.
They don't claim to be above their 'god' or true God, but they claim to be acting in the service of 'god' and if they have a higher rank, status or title than you, they are above you.
This is also why religious institutions have so much power, because they are further up the pecking order to this invented 'god' they have created which gives them the 'authority' to rule and dominate humanity.
Any real association to the 'true God' has nothing to do with superiority and inferiority.
For 'God" is beyond, not above, such pyramid minded thinking.
All titles which are essentially ranks are associated with a number.
The higher the number, the more supposed 'authority'.
Numbers, titles, status, rank and authority all have something in common.
Ascension and descension.
Moving up or down the ranks to gain or lose your fabricated 'status', which is a poor reflection of true value.
Because in reality, you already have infinite value just by exisiting, not skill, knowledge or ability, but value to enjoy life as a free being in peace.
The more status you have in their system, the more you ascend up the ranks, the further you descend into depravity and corruption, the more 'rights' and 'privileges' you have to do as you please.
That's why money is their system and always has been, because it's based off numbers that can go up or down, which is correlated to your worth.
The more numbers you have, the more 'perceived value' you have.
The less numbers you have, the less worthy you are to life and everything it has to offer.
That's why all the shadow cabalistic groups, such as the freemasons, adore their ranks and embarrassingly arrogant titles.
The same as governments, companies, police, courts and the military.
That's why if the broken and corrupt want to have power over you, they need to suck you into their system of the dead.
They manipulate you into using a corporate name from birth and into adulthood.
They force you to use a numbers based system just to survive.
Your corporate name, which is your sir-name in all caps, is a corporation.
The etymology of the word corp-oration is literally 'death speaking'.
Corp meaning corpse and oration meaning to speak.
Why do they need to deceive you into using a sir-name which means death?
Because you must have died and gone to the land of the dead to believe that some people are better than others and some are worse.
Only in hell does there exist ranks, hierarchy and belief systems that give people 'authority' and more value than others.
Could you imagine such a system existing in heaven?
If you died and went to heaven and were greeted by a formal ranking structure, where some beings had more value, worth and rights than others, then you sure ain't in heaven sonny jim.
What many people have experienced is that by not identifying as the legal fiction, the magistrates dismiss the case and tend to leave you alone.
Many people have successfully ignored fines without any kind of consequence, just because they discovered the scam and were able to work around it.
So we do the same as a collective.
We do this in a polite but firm way that shows we’re serious and to stop screwing with us.
We have as many people inside the court room, in the waiting rooms and outside as we can.
We can even all stand up in the court room when our brave guy or gal goes up to the stand, indicating that we all stand united as one.
This is our Unification Strategy.
It will take courage to do this, but there are many incredibly courageous individuals who are already doing this, alone.
With a team behind you, it will be much easier.
We make them know that if they’re going to try and drag one of us to court, we all go, every time.
They won’t want this as it put’s too much attention and focus on their scam.
They will try to maintain power via some other method, which we will adapt and overcome just the same.
If someone gets arrested, same thing.
We go to the police station and we tell the truth of what’s happening. Every time.
If we keep doing this, they will leave us alone as they won’t want the trouble.
It will be too much effort on their behalf to keep victimising peaceful and innocent people.
Through our efforts, we have a high chance of converting more police to our side too.
What do you think about that plan? Is there anything of value you would like to contribute mate?”
Alex finished his explanation with a question.
The shaved head man answered. “It won’t work. They will just keeping picking on us one at a time.”
“So what do you propose we do about that?”
“I don't know. But they’ve stolen my car before and made me pay a lot of money to get it back.”
“If that were to happen again, I can offer the idea that we use the same method as before, we gather as many people as possible.
Numbers are powerful.
Then we go there and tell them to give your car back as what they have done is called theft, which is a violation of the 1st Lore Of Morality.
We also bring with us community protectors.
Uniforms are powerful and we could develop our own uniforms.
This part is up for debate though, as when people don a uniform, they become something else.
Most of the worst atrocities in history have been committed by people wearing uniforms, something they never would have done if they weren't.
So we have to be very, very careful about using uniforms.
If they refuse to give back the stolen property, we hand them paperwork to attend our community arbitration centre for a trial.
We would make the trial date asap, within a week.
As they have committed a crime and it needs to be rectified immediately.
You need your stolen car back as you have a life to live and work to do.
This handing of paperwork would be to the people who work at the compound where the car is kept and the police who stole it from you.
If they turn up to our arbitration centre, great.
We follow the process to achieve justice.
If not, then we continue to arrive en masses to the compound and police station every day, handing the same paperwork.
If we need to find out where these people live to deliver paperwork to their doorstep, we can also do that.
We become such a pain to them, that they’ll learn we’re not worth the trouble and will try to victimise easier targets.
Not only that, they’ll see we are right and they are wrong.
We explain everything to them in a way which doesn't make them feel stupid or vengeful.
As long as we don’t initiate violence, there should be no bounds for what we do to achieve justice.
In this case, returning property to the rightful owner.
Is there anything else you would like to add?”
Alex looked at the shaved head man.
“I’m Sean by the way. That actually sounds like a decent idea.
If I come up with anything better, I’ll let you know.
But if in the meantime we start doing that, then yes I can see how it could have tremendous impact.”
Sean sat down.
“Glad to hear it. Who else supports that idea? If they come after one of us, they come after all of us?”
Most of the room raised their hands and clapped in approval of Alex’s proposal.
Larry stood up with a big grin on his face, raising his mic to speak.
“Yes Alex, I’m in full favour of your unification strategy proposal.
But,
to take it one step further, what we can do is form what is known as
a PMA, a private membership association, with our own jurisdiction, operations, management, requirements and processes.
We make a document called The Community Of Frocksville Declaration Of Independence, or something similar, and we form a private members only group.
The PMA is run in accordance to The Utopian Mindset & Utopian Principles.
Our community becomes a voluntary community, all interaction is conducted via consent.
Our objective is to peacefully co-exist and live with each other.
All the people who live inside the border of Frocksville are welcome to join us.
When someone joins our PMA or ‘The Community Of Frocksville’, they will become a member of this peoples council.”
Larry waved his hand at the crowd.
“We will form our own community protection service that replaces police.
We will form our own decentralised militia that replaces the need for centralised military.
We will form our own independent arbitration systems that replace courts.
We will create, define and abide by The Lore Of Morality and rights to replace law and legality.
We will use real democracy, project specific leadership and team work to replace rulership and authority.
We will form our own local peoples council to replace the city council.
We will focus on Contributionism, localised production and strategically efficient operations to become more sustainable and self sufficient in recycling, production, manufacturing, construction, creation, distribution, maintenance and repairs.
We can invent and harness free energy devices inside our homes and vehicles in a decentralised fashion, which reduces our dependency on petrol, oil and centralised power plants.
We can even use an alternative currency like The Freedom Credit to assist us in our transition to a fully circular, zero waste, Eco friendly, resource based economy.
We can offer a free Guardianship program for registering and recording members land, property, vehicles and vessels that offers protection and free services, such as free lifetime number plates and zero fees on anything which you have Loreful ownership.
Loreful ownership meaning that you came into possession of what is yours by ethical means.
No more property taxes, sales tax, capital gains tax, transfer fees, registration fees, licensing fees or fines.
Since we don't believe in punishment and revenge and instead utilise the R methodology to find equitable and just solutions to problems, parking tickets and all other fines become null and void for our members, as the issuers don’t have the required jurisdiction to enforce their monetary policies.
We will create our own volunteer operated road competency courses that issue certificates of competency to replace driver licenses.
We will form our own new society, the way we want, peaceful and orderly, prosperous and thriving, and we will form alliances with other like minded towns to increase our strength and fuel our growth to create a world Utopian civilisation.
So, whadya think?”
The crowd clapped and cheered, clearly impressed by Larry’s idea to bring the community together.
A woman with orange hair stood up and asked a question.
“How are we meant to expand our community and grow?”
Charlie answered this one.
Just the same as we got all of you here.
Sticking up flyers and stickers around town on the local community boards and in every business that will allow us.
We also have a Facebook group and now many more people who are invested in the idea of building Utopia.
Word of mouth is the most powerful.
Bringing along new people to meetings is going to make a big impact increasing our numbers.
We can have volunteers who hand out leaflets and speak to people on the streets.
Volunteers can go speak to every single business in town and invite them to participate in their community's management.
We’ll be giving people of the town a chance to have their voice heard, for the first time ever in their community.
That’s big. Really big.
It won’t be long before everyone in Frocksville at least knows of our existence.
After that, it’s just a matter of time before we have 90% of the entire town cooperating peacefully and contributing towards the peoples council.
If our town is the first to prove we can do this, how much quicker do you think neighbouring towns will be able to do the same?
And spread from there around the country…”
The orange haired lady answered charlie.
“Oh yes I see, well I’m happy to volunteer going to business’s and handing out leaflets.
I can even help design new flyers and strategies to bring new people into meetings.”
“How good is that! Perhaps you would like to volunteer to initiate a marketing team for the community?” Replied Charlie.
“I do like the sound of that, I will. If anyone else wants to help, please see me after the meeting.”
A man stood up, wearing a white collared shirt.
“So what do we do about taxes? Do we just stop paying them or what?”
Theresa decided to answer this one.
“There are many who don’t believe we have the moral right to pay taxes, as any money we hand over to the government further empowers them to demand more and more from us.
The more we yield and obey them, the more we are teaching them that extortion is acceptable and that they have the right to walk all over us.
We shouldn't be encouraging our own subjugation or funding the subjugation of others.
An idea what we could do is this.
Every business of their own accord stops charging tax on their products and services.
The same goes with anyone who has the power to not pay taxes.
If your employer automatically deducts taxes from your wage, then maybe you should find a new job which doesn't support funding a criminal organisation.”
The white shirt man nodded and asked another question.
“Ok, I see, but if we stop paying taxes as a whole to the government, isn’t it likely that they’ll stop funding us?
How are we going to fix the roads and build new ones?
What about maintaining our hospital or paying for emergency services?
Rubbish pickup, town tidiness, public garden maintenance?
How are we supposed to pay for all of these things?”
“Great question” Theresa replied.
“Just the same way as everything else.
Through the support of the people who realise it’s value.
A store selling shoes doesn't need to force anyone to go and buy their shoes, do they?
They offer an item of value, people recognise it’s value and support that business by exchanging cash for shoes.
No one is forced to build a supermarket, butchers or grocers.
There is no need for a law to say, ‘you must give 10% of your income to build a supermarket’ because people already see the value in a supermarket, people want food!
People are already willing to provide value in return for a different kind of value.
Does that make sense?”
“It’s starting to” The white shirted man said.
“But roads are really expensive, why would people donate or volunteer to build them?”
Theresa laughed.
“Why do you think...?”
“You can call me Frank. I think they won’t want to donate towards building a road and paying for it’s constant repair.”
“Very interesting, isn't it Frank. People are forced to do so now and use it as a justification for why we are robbed by the tax department.
Yet all of a sudden, when the threat of violence disappears, something which they found to be of extreme value, is now not even worth donating too?
Very contradictory isn't it?”
“Hmm I see your point. But still. How would it work? Because we don’t want to go back to the dark ages and have bad roads and foot paths, do we?”
Theresa and the panel of speakers laughed.
Larry raised his mic and said “Oh mate, when we build our new roads, we’ll look at what we have now as the dark ages!”
Frank raised his eyebrows, doubting the sincerity of Larry’s words.
“Ok, go on then, explain.”
Theresa continued her explanation.
“The way we build our roads and what we build them from needs to be addressed first.
They are currently too expensive to make, install and repair.
The current manufacturing process is also toxic for the workers and environment.
The longevity of the road material is also so poor we should never have even been using it.
It takes far too long to build new roads and causes many traffic issues when repairing them.
They’re also very dangerous when they break with cracks and potholes and can cause damage to cars, motorbikes and even result in fatal accidents.
It’s totally nonviable. It’s not worth it to build roads the way we do now, with asphalt and bitumen.
Our current roads are too expensive, too toxic, take too long to build, require constant maintenance and are extremely low quality.
The roads we have now are the definition of the dark ages.
It doesn't matter which country you are in.
The roads vary from low quality to downright terrible.
Building high quality roads and accompanying foot paths is a very high priority of ours.
Alex stood up.
“Before you explain an alternative way to build roads Theresa, I just want to spark some thought about why we have the current roads we do, if I may?”
“Go ahead, please”
“If there was a way to build roads very cheaply, quickly, so they lasted much longer, were less toxic and were much easier to repair, why wouldn't the government approve of this?
Or should I ask, why would they want this?
By making them cheaper to build, this means they wouldn't have a valid reason to charge such high taxes, make people pay for rego and have a tax on petrol.
Because roads are so expensive to build, the government appears to have a legitimate reason to extort large sums of money to cover the enormous cost of building and maintaining roads.
Why would they want to charge so many taxes and collect so much money from the people?
For two reasons, which are the same two reasons as for any example where they tax us.
First, to have more money in their pockets so they can increase their personal salaries.
Second, which is the real reason they do it, is so that you have less money in your pocket, which means you have less ability and opportunity to live your life doing what you want.
If they have more money and you have less, this creates a bigger divide between the ruling class and the worker class.
Which does what….?” Alex asked of the audience.
“It makes us easier to control”. Answered a young man in his late teens from the second row.
“Correct. Tax is always about only two things.
Making the lives of the people who take your money better and making the lives of those who have been robbed worse.
So why would they want to keep a toxic manufacturing process compared to a safe one?”
The same young man answered.
“Because when people get sick, they go to big pharma and western doctors for help and from there become a life long customer of their literally, sickening business model.
They want people to get sick so they can make more profits and because sick people are easier to control.
It’s not just easier to control sick people but also the healthy people who look after them.
Especially in countries where ‘medicine’ is expensive, it keeps the healthy people stuck in work bondage to afford the expensive drugs to look after their sick friend or family member.
‘Well said young man, that’s spot on!” Answered Alex.
“So why else would the government and by extension, the control system prefer a road building strategy which is lengthy and always requires work to maintain? Anyone?”
The young man was on a role.
“Because it keeps them in work bondage, or otherwise called, servitude.
Instead of doing what they want, creating and living their passions, they’re stuck doing a job which takes years out of their life when it should only take weeks.
It’s the cycle of control.
Make the general population slave away building low quality products and buildings.
Make them pay taxes on everything so they have very little to show for the work they’ve done.
Then make them continue to work because they got taxed so much and because everything they do is super low quality.
Which means it needs to be fixed, which means they aren't able to start or build new things.
If people built things right the first time, whether it be a motorbike, computer, apartment block or road, in a way which was to the highest quality possible and which required only very little maintenance, if any, they would have much more free time to do what they want.
Whether that be enjoying their hobbies or building more high quality infrastructure and products that everyone could benefit from.
Combining low quality products, whether those products be cars, roads or houses, with added taxes, you have a fantastic recipe for keeping people busy doing what you want them to be doing.
Which from the governments point of view, is to struggle for survival.
It’s hard for people to engage in higher level thinking when they are struggling for survival, constantly slaving away doing things they shouldn't be doing and then spending most of their earnings just to survive.
Paying for rent, repaying a mortgage, paying for food, electricity, internet, water, petrol, car maintenance and entertainment.
All the money people earn is taxed and then everything they spend that money on is taxed.
No wonder most people struggle to be really ‘successful’ and the wealth gap continues to grow.
Some people figure out a way to live comfortably, despite the current system, not because of it.
But some people is not everyone and those some are far, far too few.”
The crowd clapped and cheered at the young mans brilliance.
“Wowee, how old are you mate”? Asked Alex.
“I’m 19. I’m Jake by the way.”
“Man, I wish I knew what you know at your age. Well done, keep up the good work.”
“Thanks.”
“Back over to you Theresa.” Offered Alex.
Theresa looked back at Frank the white shirt man and continued to answer his concerns about roads.
A popular alternative to building roads with asphalt and bitumen is to build them with recycled plastic.
This is beneficial for many reasons.
It helps clean up and utilise some of the huge amount of plastic waste every country has.
Recycled plastic roads are much cheaper to build, last much longer, are stronger and are better for water drainage.
A plastic road was built in the Netherlands that was made from recycled plastic blocks.
This made the road building time significantly quicker than traditional methods.
What’s so good about this?
Well it means that the people who are volunteering to build new roads, whether for free or getting paid in some form of currency, have to work for a fraction of the time they normally would, yet at the same time, they are delivering a much higher quality result.
This is better for everyone.
They also last much longer so there would be far less energy, effort, and currency required to repair them.
Alternative technical solutions to our current problems is a huge factor in moving towards Utopia.
It’s not all just about a mindset shift.
I guess when you break it down, building a better world really is about those two things.
Shifting mindsets and creating better technical solutions.
Because shifting mindsets is far more difficult and time consuming then creating and implementing technical solutions, can you see why Frank it took us a while to answer your very simple question of ‘what do we do about roads’?
“Yes, thank you for the explanation, but still, if we aren't paying taxes, how do these new and improved roads get built?”
“Do you think you’d be able to answer that question Frank? Have a try.” Invited Theresa.
“Ok, let me think, volunteers and donations”?
“That’s right. If people had two options, the first being to keep things the same and the second being to try this new approach, what do you think they would choose?
“It’s still hard to say at this point..”
“Ok, let me give you an example of taxation vs donations.
If we kept things the same, everyone in Frocksville would be taxed $10,000 each over a two year period to build and maintain our current dangerous and toxic roads.
This would be taxed from their income, on the registration they pay and their petrol taxes, just to name a few.
If we adopted this new method of building recycled plastic roads, we would only need 50% of people to donate less than $1,000 each to build and maintain our safer and more environmentally friendly roads over a 10 year period.
Why is our new method so much cheaper?
Because we’re using recycled plastic garbage and the labour time is approximately a third.
So why would people donate to do this?
Because they would be saving a ton of money, an absolute ton and they would be getting much higher quality roads.
Which means it’s less likely they could have an accident because of a pothole or have to pay to replace a busted wheel or suspension.
Also the peace of mind that the people who volunteer to build the roads don’t have to work nearly as hard or as long as they used to.
Plus they would be cleaning up the environment and using plastic waste for something good.”
Frank scratched his head in thought.
“Alright, yes that does make sense, I see how it’s much preferable now, but what about the other 50% of people who don’t donate to build the roads.
That’s not fair is it? Should they not be allowed to drive on the roads then?”
Larry piped up.
“So what would you have us do? Violently stop them from travelling freely?”
‘Um, well no, but if they didn't contribute with donations, they shouldn't be allowed to use the roads.”
“So what would you do then? Would you stand there at the entrance to roads and tell people they can’t drive on them, and if they did would you personally use violence against a peaceful person?”
“Well, um, I wouldn't do that no.”
“So you wouldn't do that, but someone else should, is that what you’re saying?”
“Ahhh...”
“So why wouldn't you do it? Is it because you don't want to or that you know it’s wrong?
Because if it’s wrong for you to do, why would it be right for anyone else to do?”
“Hmmm, you got me there. I concede Ok” Frank put up his arms and laughed embarrassingly.
“Don’t worry mate, there’s still plenty of people who haven't thought it through like this.
Now you can explain it to them.” Larry winked at Frank.
Theresa continued.
It’s actually a good thing that not everyone has to donate towards something to make it happen.
If a new race car track wouldn't be built until everyone in the town was forced to give money towards its creation, well that wouldn't be so great.
But that’s not what happens, only a small amount of people donate or pay for a project then open it up to everyone.
The 50% of people who didn't donate for the road now have extra money to put towards something else.
Everyone values something enough to donate towards.
Different people have different priorities and values.
Perhaps some of those people didn't donate towards roads but decided to donate towards a new natural health care facility.
Some of them may have preferred to support a new drug rehab centre.
A small percentage of people will never want to donate, no matter what.
Just because a minority of people don't donate towards causes does not mean they should be excluded from using things we all have a right to use.
Like trains or public roads and bridges.
And just because they’re not donating doesn't mean they aren’t contributing.
They are still more likely than not doing some kind of work offering value to people.
Even if they are a dole bludger and don't work, they would be spending their currency, whether national or an alternative like the freedom credit, supporting business’s getting the things that they want.
It still is a form of contribution.
Although, I don't think it’s anything to worry about as you’ll find the majority more than willing to donate and volunteer for things.
Look how many people do it even today in our current society.
With a lot more money in their pocket, actual choice of what they want to support and much higher quality projects, it’s seems much more likely than not that people will not only willingly donate, they’ll be excited to.
This way when a new road or bridge is built, they can say they had a direct influence and impact on it’s construction.
This will be much more rewarding and satisfying than simply being coerced under the threat of punishment to pay taxes towards things you have no control over and typically don’t want.
Are you satisfied with that answer now Frank?”
Frank nodded.
“I’ve learnt a lot just now. Let me see if I get it. So instead of being forced to pay taxes to pay for things we don't necessarily want, like war, extreme surveillance, massive politician salaries and poor quality roads, we don’t pay tax and instead donate and volunteer for the things we find valuable?”
“Yes, exactly. If the people of Frocksville don't think high quality roads and footpaths are important, they won’t donate.
If people don't donate, then we get stuck with potholes and crappy roads. Do you think that’s a likely scenario?”
Frank shook his head.
“No, definitely not. People don't want their fancy cars getting busted wheels.
People will donate because roads are an important part of daily life for everyone, everywhere.”
“Bingo. I hope that makes more sense for everyone now.”
A scruffy looking man stood up and asked a question.
“Isn’t what were doing now just creating a new government? With you and the other speakers taking the initiative to be in control and rule it?”
Charlie answered this one.
“At what point has anyone here suggested that if you don't obey us, we have the legitimate moral right to hurt you?”
“Well you haven't said that yet, but you might.”
“Don’t you think that would contradict absolutely everything we have just been talking about?
How would we possibly get away with that without anyone noticing?
Why on earth would we want to cause harm to anyone anyway?”
Charlie looked confused that anyone would think they were building a new violent ruling class after everything which had already been said.
“Well how is this not just the same as government?” Asked the scruffy man.
“Is anyone violently threatening you to hand over most of your earnings and property? No.
Is anyone declaring that they will be the ruler over you and you will have to abide by their laws, legislation, mandates, directions, rules, policies, regulations and statutes or else you will be punished? No.
On the contrary, do you have the ability to ask the question you just did or to present any other valuable ideas? Yes.
Can you vote on any and all important decisions that is going to affect the community as a whole? Yes.
Can you do anything you want, as long as you don’t violate a Lore Of Morality? Yes.
Are you free to participate or not participate in the communities functioning? Yes.
How is what we are doing now anything like government? It’s the exact opposite.
We are peacefully co-operating.
Government violently dominates. It only knows how to take and break.
It does nothing for anyone and only causes problems.
Government does not provide security, it creates wars and police states we need to be protected from.
Government doesn't create justice, it creates injustice.
Government doesn't create equality, it creates inequality.
Government doesn't create peace and stability, it creates war and chaos.
Government doesn't create financial security and stability, it creates financial volatility and outright thieves from the people.
Government does not provide education, but indoctrination.
Government does not help you heal and prevent illness, it helps cause disease and funds practices that make you sick.
Government doesn't build infrastructure, people do.
Government has no good plans, only bad ones.
Government does not lead, it only rules.
Government does not allow your voice to be heard, it squashes it.
Government isn't for the people, it’s for itself.
We are doing the exact polar opposite of government.
We are creating a society, not a control mechanism.
The only function of government is to violently dictate.
Whenever there is peaceful co-operation, like what we’re doing now, it’s not government.
Government and peace are incompatible in the same sentence.
Has there ever been a war in the history of humanity which has not been instigated by a ruling class?
From ancient Rome to Vietnam, the world wars, the middle east and now in Europe.
All major wars and bloodshed has been at the behest of the government and the ruling class of it’s day.
Against other nations or it’s own.
Whether it was a king, pharaoh, god, prophet or politician giving the orders, it’s all the same.
Those with perceived ‘authority’ ordered those who believed they had the duty to obey ‘authority’ to kill and be killed.
There is no such thing as legitimate authority.
It’s a belief system made from lies.
No one has the right to order you around, no matter who they are.
We are talking about starting a totally new society where there is no ruling class, no enforcement class and no worker class.
We want the idea of ‘authority’ to transition from anything possibly legitimate into the insane false belief system it is.
We want to come to the conclusion now as rational people that we would never fall victim to such a crazy ideology ever again.
We are building a new system where there are no classes, only people voluntarily working together.
Does that answer your question mate”?
The scruffy man scrunched up his face in concentration and nodded slightly.
“So you’re saying we’re not creating a new government, but we’re creating a new society?
What are these principles backed from, what social doctrine is this called?”
Charlie smiled.
“They are backed by reality and reality is the truth and the truth is you’re sovereign and free and have the right to do anything you want as long as you respect others rights.
We are just building a society according to reality my friend.”
The scruffy man furrowed his brow and took a seat, deep in contemplation at the simple but powerful words Charlie offered him.
Rebecca stood up and raised her mic.
“What a wonderful evening, we’ve covered so much tonight.
I think we call it for the night and let all this new information settle in.
Give it time and things will start making sense.
There’s still so much to do and figure out, but we can do that together, voluntary without the threat of violence or punishment.
It’s time we evolve past the barbarism of government, modern democracy, politics and authority.
It’s time we take our place in the world as the full owners of ourselves, not as the property of the greedy and corrupt.
You’ve all done so well, our first meeting has gone as perfectly as any of us could have hoped for.
Those who would like to hang around after the meeting to organise future meetings and co-ordinate together, feel free.
I hope to see all of you and many more next Sunday at the next peoples council.
Thank you all for coming, good night.”
